About Me:
Animator and animation theorist based in NYC. I teach studio and animation history/theory classes at The New School, and have given lectures on animation at venues ranging from the Royal College of Art, London to Canada Gallery, NYC. Current areas of study include animated documentary, Soviet animation, and the politics of design. I have exhibited at galleries including Art Production Fund, James Fuentes, Venus over Los Angeles, Recess Art, Kidd Yellin and Vox Populi, and participated in dozens of film festivals including SXSW, Sommets d’Animation, Jihlava Documentary Festival, Animation Block Party, Filmfest Oldenburg, and International Film Festival Rotterdam. I graduated from Harvard in 2007 and received my MFA from Bard in 2014.
